Still
Unknown spaces, forms and colour go beyond the recognizable object, the
decisive moment, and the conventional perspective. Still represents
pure space and feelings. It departs from something that exists, even though
that existence frequently seems no less abstract. When the real is no
longer evident, the play between the gaze and the possibilities of art
are combined and seem to become infinite. Given that everything we believe
is not necessarily true, and everything that we see is not necessarily
real, possibly, now more than ever we are conscious of the capacity of
deceit and of the absolute lack of certainties. Still is an unknown in
its very reality.
